About the event
The three musicians of the Faganel Trio met by chance in the summer of 2016 during a “retreat for musicians” at a remote castle in the enchanted forests of Slovenia's Kozjansko National Park. Amid the creative silence arose the wish to walk a musical path together and to devote themselves to the inexhaustible repertoire for piano trio. Each of the three musicians continues a great chamber music tradition; teachers such as Menahem Pressler, Alice Schoenfeld and Valter Dešpalj shaped them during their international training. After lively concert activity in Slovenia, further engagements in Germany, Belgium, Italy and Vienna already await the ensemble.
