Chopin and Schumann – piano trios and impromptus

    Trio-Abend in Kranichstein

    About the event

The Chopin Society, in cooperation with the European Partnership Association, is delighted that the renowned trio with the enchanting Carmen Piazzini at the piano has decided to include Chopin's rarely performed early work – his Piano Trio in G minor op. 8 – in their programme.

This extraordinary piece is artfully combined with Robert Schumann's masterly Piano Trio in D minor op. 63 – a real highlight for all lovers of classical music. As a special treat for Chopin fans, Carmen Piazzini will also enchant us with Chopin's four captivating impromptus.
