New Year’s Concert with Duo Orloff

About the event

The two accomplished concert musicians have been performing on stage since childhood and together founded the Orloff Duo. Their passion for music has been rewarded with numerous prizes at international competitions in Russia, Germany and Austria. The duo won the Fidelio Competition in Vienna, the Silver Prize at the World Classical Music Award, and was among the prize-winners at the Anton Rubinstein Competition in Düsseldorf.

The duo has taken part in many musical projects and performed at various festivals, including „Music in the Mountains“ (USA), the Hochschulpodium in Bad Brückenau, the Jugendstil Festival in Bad Nauheim, the International Chamber Music Festival in Kazan, and the Anacapri Masterclasses (Italy). Their repertoire ranges from Bach through the Romantic era to contemporary music.

Julia and Tatiana graduated from the Russian Gnessin Academy of Music in Moscow and, in 2021, completed their joint training as a duo at the Private University for Music and the Arts in Vienna (class of Prof. Denise Benda). They have performed, among other places, at the Moscow Conservatory, the Alte Oper Frankfurt, the Moscow International House of Music, the Kuhmo Concert Hall and the Ehrbar Saal in Vienna.
