About the event
The originally scheduled concert with Yulia Miloslavskaya will take place at a later date. In her place the Ukrainian pianist Anton Drozd performs.
Anton Drozd was born in Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine, in 1995. He received his first piano lessons from Svetlana Kucheruk at the municipal music school in Khmelnytskyi. From 2010 to 2013 he attended the M. Lysenko Music School in Kyiv in the class of Natalia Hrydneva and took part in masterclasses with Christopher Ritter in Weimar and Alain Planès in Paris.
Since 2013 he has been a student at the State Tchaikovsky Academy of Music in the class of Borys Fedorov, who praises his playing as always deeply sincere and emotional and describes him as an outstanding musician with great technical resources and an exceptionally artistic personality.
Anton Drozd took part in an international competition for the first time in 2017 in Italy. In October 2017 he qualified for the final of the 11th International Chopin Piano Competition in Darmstadt.
