    Chamber concert with Carmen Piazzini (piano), Peter Wolf (cello) and Ingo de Haas (violin). On the programme: Chopin – Polonaise-Fantaisie op. 61 (piano solo); Ravel – Sonata for violin and piano; Mendelssohn – Piano Trio in D minor.

    Carmen Piazzini comes from a well-known family of musicians in Buenos Aires. Her repertoire ranges from the Classical period to contemporary music; she has recorded more than 50 CDs, including complete recordings of Mozart, Beethoven and Haydn. In 1998 and 2009 she was honoured as best pianist with the Argentine Press Award.

    Until 2016 Peter Wolf was principal cellist of the HR Symphony Orchestra and a lecturer at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. Ingo de Haas is first concertmaster of the Frankfurt Opera and Museum Orchestra and first violinist of the Hindemith Quartet.
