Wednesday, 11 October to Thursday, 12 October — Daily from 10 am to 1 pm and 3:30 to approx. 6:45 pm.
Friday, 13 October — From 10 am to 1 pm and 3 to approx. 6:00 pm.
EITHER: 1. a complete étude cycle, either op. 10 or op. 25; études played in the first round may not be repeated 2. a significant/large work of more than 8 minutes' duration, e.g. scherzo, ballade, rondo, barcarolle, fantaisie, allegro de concert, etc. 3. one or more works of free choice up to a total playing time of 45–50 min.
OR: 1. one of the sonatas (C minor op. 4, B-flat minor op. 35, B minor op. 58) without repeats 2. a significant/large work of more than 8 minutes' duration, e.g. scherzo, ballade, rondo, barcarolle, fantaisie, allegro de concert, etc., or in this section eight consecutive préludes from op. 28* (e.g. nos. 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) 3. one or more works of free choice up to a total playing time of 45–50 min.
Followed by jury deliberation and announcement of results and feedback from the jury.
