Benefit and memorial concert for Yuri Blinov. The event was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic; a new date will be announced in good time.
In memory of Yuri Blinov: Chopin's First Sonata in C minor, which Yuri Blinov performed during the Chopin Marathon in 2015, is available online.
Performers: Aleksandra Mikulska, Sabine Simon, Boris Bloch and Viacheslav Spiridonov. The programme features solo piano works by Bach, Beethoven, Busoni, Liszt, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Schumann, Scriabin and Blinov as well as works for four hands at two pianos by Mozart and Chopin.
Donations from this event benefit Yuri Blinov's young son.
