11th International Chopin Competition — All seven jurors on stage

About the event
An unusual opening is promised by the opening concert of the 11th International Chopin Competition in Darmstadt, when on 6 October all seven jurors will take to the stage at the Darmstadt Orangerie to demonstrate their artistry.
These are: Dang Thai Son (winner of the Warsaw Chopin Competition 1980), Kevin Kenner (winner of the Warsaw Chopin Competition 1990), Ewa Pobłocka (main prizewinner in Warsaw 1980 and winner of the mazurka prize together with Dang Thai Son), Prof. Andrzej Jasiński (former teacher of Krystian Zimerman and long-standing chairman of the Warsaw jury), Tobias Koch (lecturer at the Robert Schumann Academy of Music in Düsseldorf), Martin Kasík (lecturer at the Prague Academy of Music) and Sabine Simon (lecturer at the Akademie für Tonkunst in Darmstadt).
The participation of all jurors of a competition in one and the same concert marks a first for Germany.
