Competitions / Wettbewerbe

Chopin-Klavierwettbewerbe finden seit 1983 alle drei bis fünf Jahre in Darmstadt statt, zuletzt im Oktober 2022. Teilnahmeberechtigt sind Pianisten aller Nationalitäten bis 30 Jahre. Ziel ist es herausragende Interpretationen von Chopins Werken zu fördern und junge Pianisten auf ihrem musikalischen Weg zu unterstützen.

XIII Darmstadt International Chopin Piano Competition 09. – 15. October 2027

The Chopin piano competitions have been held in Darmstadt every three to five years since 1983, most recently in October 2022. Pianists of all nationalities up to the age of 30 are eligible to participate. The aim is to promote outstanding interpretations of Chopin’s works and to support young pianists in their musical careers.
